16^th Foundation Day Celebration of the Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission

The 16^th Foundation day of the Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission was celebrated on 17^th January 2024. Dr. Radha Rangarajan, Director, CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute,, Lucknow was the Chief Guest on the occasion. During her visit, Dr. Radha interacted with scientific staff of IPC and took a round of the IPC laboratory facilities. Dr. Rajeev Singh Raghuvanshi, Secretary-cum-Scientific Director, IPC welcomed Dr. Radha Rangarajan, Prof. Y. K. Gupta, and other guests present in the Foundation Day celebrations. Dr. Rajeev Singh gave a presentation by summarizing IPC activities in the field of pharmaceutical standardization and pharmacovigilence to promote quality and safety of medicinal products in the country. Key achievements made by the IPC were also presented. Thereafter, Dr. Radha Rangarajan delivered the Foundation Day Lecture. The programme ended with vote of Thanks by Dr. Anil Kumar Teotia, Principal Scientific Officer, IPC. On this occasion of 16th Foundation Day, plantation was done by the Chief Guest, Dr. Radha Rangarajan in the IPC garden.
