Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission organized the “1st IPC Interactive Meet on Pharmacopoeia Standards: Regulatory and Quality Considerations” at CSIR-IMTECH, Chandigarh on 4th February, 2019
The Interactive Meet was inaugurated by Prof. Raj Kumar, Vice-Chancellor of Punjab University in presence of Dr. Anil Koul, Director, CSIR-IMTECH and Dr. G. N. Singh, Secretary-cum-Scientific Director, IPC. The interactive meet was attended by 61 registered delegates including QC analysts, R&D scientists, regulatory affair professionals, researchers and students.
Dr. G. N. Singh welcomed all the delegates and encouraged them to work with collaborative spirit so that country can gain maximum benefits.
Dr. Anil Koul appreciated the efforts taken by IPC for conducting this meet for better collaborations between industry, academia and research organizations. He offered the participants to visit CSIR-IMTECH facilities and services to better understand the ongoing research work. Prof. Raj Kumar delivered the keynote address and emphasized to have collaborations in different government organizations and industry so that we can give deliverables within stipulated time which will ensure the outcome for the benefit of the society. He also emphasized to share the resources, facilities, instruments, expertise etc. among the institutions and students who are willing to do research in key areas of the pharmaceuticals.
